‘True Blood’ season 7 trailer: Anna Paquin, reflections dominate
Before their premiere of the latest “Fast and the Furious” movie on Saturday, HBO did something a little bit surprising from their standpoint: Unveiling a new “True Blood” trailer at a time that was not prior to a new episode of “Game of Thrones.”
With that being said, we really don’t feel like anyone is going to complain about getting something great a day early. There is a bunch of new footage in here, along with some little snippets of things that could become big stories over the course of the ten episodes ahead:
- Whether or not Sookie is really over Bill Compton, or if she is strictly wasting her time trying to fool herself into feeling a certain way than what she actually does.
- Whether or not anyone can stop the Hep V vampires from coming into the town and destroying all humans.
- Jessica is going to continue to try to make amends for her fairy-eating rampage from last season, but there are going to be further temptations put at her feel.
- Anna Paquin dominates the trailer, as you also get glimpses back into early seasons, her grandmother, and other characters left behind.
Still, there is one noticeable thing about this trailer: Who is not featured in it. Alexander Skarsgard is a series regular, but he has yet to be seen in any promotional material as Eric Northman. We know from some short synopses that were released that Pam will still be searching for him at around the time of the second episode of the season, so it will be interesting to see where the story goes from there.
