‘The Flash’: First teaser trailer of Grant Gustin debuts during ‘Arrow’ finale

Have you been waiting for a first look at “The Flash”? Well, have no fear: The waiting is now over!

In the video below, you can get a glimpse of the playful new teaser fronted by Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, but also surprisingly Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). The big takeaway from this is mostly just a fun reminder that the show is coming, and nothing more. It’s certainly fun, but not entirely spoilery.

So why not give us a full trailer? That is a pretty big question, given that the pilot for the show has already been filmed. The only real reason that we can think of is that they want to debut that at a later date, potentially Comic-Con, to build further excitement up for the show. While its placement on the schedule has yet to be revealed, we fully imagine that it will be a welcome part of The CW’s lineup, and should get 22 episodes just like “Arrow” did. Our personal feeling? It may be risky, but go ahead and put it on Tuesdays to allow for a super-block. We worry already about it airing on Mondays, and that hasn’t been a good spot for any CW show as of late.

As of right now, we do have to say that this is one of our most-anticipated shows of the entire fall season. So long as the show gets the same level of treatment as “Arrow,” we feel like it will in the end be in very good hands.
