‘The Originals’ episode 22 (finale) spoilers: Joseph Morgan on the stakes ahead

On “The Originals” tomorrow night, we are going to get a real opportunity to see some violence, some surprises, and also a cliffhanger of sorts for the second season, which is already in production.

While the tease below from series star Joseph Morgan (via E! Online) may not be the most in-depth reveal of all time, it should give you some valuable further insight into just what is going on with some of the stories as a whole:

“It’s a huge episode, and it’s also very terrifying. It’s a really frightening episode … I don’t think you’re going to be disappointed. We’re going to go out real strong.”

As of right now, it does feel like “The Originals” really could use a big episode. the ratings have fallen, and with there being no definitive indication in the near future regarding if Claire Holt could return, the show has to figure something else out. One of the biggest reveals is potentially what happens to Klaus and Hayley’s child, and if these two could actually be doting parents despite all of the hate and the history that they have.

But, this is not the only major story thread that has to be managed, as you also have a number of other important things to deal with like Elijah and Hayley’s relationship, and also whether or not Marcel finds a way to do anything about Klaus. We have a hard time imagining that the character will be going anywhere in the near future, so you will probably be seeing a good bit more of him in the fall.
