‘The Originals’ finale spoilers: Who is getting set to work with Marcel?

“The Originals” can be viewed as a story all about vampires, werewolves, and witches, but many viewers know that there is something much deeper going on here, as well. This is more of a TV version of “Risk,” where you have some many different people with varying allegiances coming together and battling each other.

As we get closer to the finale airing next week, one of the bigger things that you can most-definitely anticipate happening is a battle going down between Marcel’s team and those fighting with Klaus … and it is probably going to get ugly. At least Marcel is going to have a little bit of help from some friends, right?

Speaking to TV Guide, executive producer Michael Narducci teases some of the people who are going to be working with Charles Michael Davis’ character to ensure that he gets most of what he wants out of this battle. Also, there are some relationship teasers regarding him, as well:

“Marcel truly cares for Cami … As far as Marcel and Davina, [he] absolutely has an ‘older brother’ relationship and looks out for her.” 

Whatever happens during this finale, the only thing that we feel fairly certain of at the moment is that it is very unlikely that anything is actually going to be completely resolved in here. After all, some of these people (see Klaus and Marcel) have been fighting since before many of the other characters were even born, so it’s not like one season of back-and-worth along with Klaus potentially being a father is going to push forward and change everything.
