ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Emily VanCamp, a grave highlight finale photo

We have a first look now at the upcoming season 3 finale for “Revenge,” and it is safe to say that this is a particularly shocking one. After all, it is not every day that you have a chance to see Emily Thorne seemingly either digging a grave for someone, or finding a way to dig someone up.

Note that there are no further spoilers ahead for the May 11 episode; instead, we’re going to put on our own detective cap and try to figure out just what could be going on here.

1. Emily is trying to discover whether or not David Clarke is really dead. If his grave is empty, we will officially classify this as the most frustrating / predictable plot twist in existence.

2. Emily is going to open up a grave, kill Victoria, and then dump her in it. That’d certainly be a dark twist for the show, but pretty unlikely. Madeleine Stowe and Emily VanCamp are the two actors who the series will never kill off until they know they are at the series finale.

3. Emily is digging up the body of someone else, potentially just to find evidence that Victoria doesn’t want her to get.

The most interesting thing to us about this picture is actually Victoria’s outfit, which does not look like something that is in her typically-glamorous wardrobe. Why they change? The easy guess is just that something has devastated the Grayson family, which makes a little bit of sense already, given what we have seen in the promo about Sunday’s new episode. Supposedly, this is where the walls will come tumbling down.
