‘Teen Wolf’ season 4: Tyler Posey handles very different job for MTV

Who says that Tyler Posey is limited to just doing all things wolf for MTV? We’ve also found out now that the actor will be doing a little bit of hosting, as well, for one of the network’s most-popular properties: Their upcoming movie show!

For the MTV Movie Awards this weekend, Posey will join Zendaya as the host of the pre-show for the actual event, which is hosted by a man in Conan O’Brien whose target demographic seems to get younger as he gets older. (Basically, he is the Benjamin Button of talk-show hosts.) This will be a chance to do some lighthearted interviews, preview the night ahead, and just show a different side of himself than he typically has an opportunity to do on “Teen Wolf.”

The best thing for Posey is just that he managed to find time in his schedule for this, given that season 4 of the series is currently in production and preparing for its launch a little later in the summer. This is one of the most-demanding shows that you can possibly work on. There are a lot of episodes to do in a short amount of time, it requires you to be in great shape, and it also has a lot of complicated sequences that take a very long time to shoot. Then again, it all seems to be worth it based on the success, the ratings, and that it leads to these other gigs.

We just hope that this pre-show is different than most others, which tend to be pretty cheesy and a double for a series of corporate advertisements from “sponsors.” There are typically a couple celebrities who stop by for awkward interviews.
