‘The Blacklist’ spoilers: How long will Tom, Liz’s ‘marriage’ stay a sham?
We’re still on hiatus when it comes to new episodes of “The Blacklist,” but that’s not stopping us from asking and/or thinking about more questions when it comes to the show. The latest one? How long Liz and Tom Keen are actually going to pretend that their marriage is still a marriage. He knows that the jig is mostly up with her at this point, and in turn, he has to realize that everyone else will know soon.
How soon? That’s what we are here to talk about now. According to TV Guide, Megan Boone’s character will confess to her employers soon about her husband’s true nature, and the FBI may actually be a good resource for her. They will enable for more and more information to come out about what he has been up to and who hired him.
What’s also very important here? That some of what they pick up is going to be valuable to the future development of the character. The bureau will help Liz realize that Tom has been very connected to almost everything on the show so far … but as for whether or not that is information she’ll want to hear, that’s a good question.
Our take – An interesting move to have an “everything’s tied together” theme to the show, and also a very predictable one. The major thing that we’re worried about for the time being is merely that we could drown in a sea of coincidences soon enough. The show occasionally does moves to treat viewers like they haven’t been paying that much attention, and we really hope that doesn’t happen here.
