‘Talking Dead’: Andrew Lincoln to make first live appearance after ‘Walking Dead’ finale
Can you believe that Andrew Lincoln has never made a live appearance on “Talking Dead“? While he has appeared via pre-taped segments, the man behind Rick Grimes (who has openly admitted to not watching the show) has yet to grace the Chris Hardwick-hosted show in the same way that many of his fellow cast members have.
Luckily, that ends this coming weekend! Lincoln will be appearing on the finale of the show following “The Walking Dead,” where he will hopefully be able to pick up the pieces of everything that transpires on the show. Given everything that is at stake for Rick Grimes and the rest of the characters, the potential is certainly there for this to be one of the biggest episodes of the entire season. He’s wandering out there on the way to Terminus, but unfortunately for him, the Claimers may make it impossible for him to even make it there.
Last night on “Talking Dead,” the show welcomed Steven Yeun (Glenn) and Josh McDermitt (Eugene) to the show in order to speak out about some of the great things that transpired there. Specifically, we saw a reunion between Glenn and Maggie, and Eugene made a decision to visit Terminus with the rest of the group in hopes of finding better equipment (at least supposedly) in order to visit Washington DC with his idea of how to “cure” the virus. Lincoln was barely even in this episode, as the only major appearance he had was for a little scene to reference where Rick, Michonne, and Carol were heading … which was a nice additional way to tie this story with Daryl’s.
Is it possible that there could be another surprise guest on the show/ Sure, but that depends on whether or not someone else dies during the episode.
