‘Masters of Sex’ season 2 spoilers: ‘American Horror Story’ alum to recur as…
With the news that “Masters of Sex” season 2 will be premiering in July rather than September, we now have a much better idea as to why there is so much information out there about the show. The show has to cast and get production rolling quickly in order to make itself work out in time.
Recently, we told you about how a certain “Breaking Bad” favorite in Betsy Brandt is going to be coming on board the show for a recurring role pretty soon, and who are we adding to this list now? Think of an actor who we’ve seen on everything from “Magic City” to “American Horror Story” the past several months: Danny Huston. Per The Wrap, the actor is set to recur throughout season 2 in the role of Dr. Douglas Greathouse, who is the very-important head of a hospital’s Obstetrics Department.
Huston joins a cast that is already beyond incredible, but in the end, there are still so many questions left up in the air about this show. Thanks in part the nature of this show’s biographical story, this is not one that will necessarily feature a devoted crop of series regulars from start to finish. Instead, what you are a little bit more than likely to see here is a revolving door of people who come in and out of the lives of Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson. After what happened to Masters at the hospital at the conclusion of season 1, it is pretty easy to figure out that he will not be able to do too much more there … at least for now.
