‘Glee’ season 5, episode 13 preview: More Heather Morris; a ‘Don’t Stop Believin” reprise

Glee -Did you really think that “Glee” was going to finish off its run in Lima, Ohio (or at least the show’s fictional version of it) without tapping back into what made it so special? We’re at least in part talking about what has to be considered one of the series’ most-iconic songs ever in “Don’t Stop Believin’,” which is going to be one of many featured in next week’s “New Directions.”

While it may seem a little odd to hear the song without Cory Monteith (and we understand those who feel extra sentimental about it for that very reason), we know that this is really meant to be a gigantic celebration of everything that the club went through together. It’s an extension directly of what you saw tonight, and romance seems to be abounding based on the promo below. Heather Morris’ Brittany seems down to cultivate at least a few more romantic moments, while we are also going to get to see more of Puck and Quinn together.

Now, let’s press on and share the full synopsis for this one courtesy of Fox below:

” As the fate of the glee club becomes a reality, April (guest star Kristin Chenoweth) and Holly (guest star Gwyneth Paltrow) plot a plan to save New Directions. Meanwhile, Rachel and Santana attempt to make amends after their blowout fight in the all-new ‘New Directions’ episode.”

Does it sound exciting? Given how much ground the show needs to cover, including closing the door on so many of the McKinley characters, we are interested in seeing how they do it.

What do you think is going to happen here, save of course for everything that we saw in the promo? Share your thoughts, and click here if you do want to read our full take on tonight’s 100th episode. You can also sign up to get some song-worthy updates via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
