NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Is Will Graham finally gaining ground?
So far, season 2 of “Hannibal” has been a heck of a crazy ride, and based on the new promo below for next week’s new episode “Takiawase,’ it is probably only going to get more and more insane from here as suspicion finally starts to mount on Dr. Lecter’s culpability.
Let’s start off here with what is a tradition with every “Hannibal” episode: Trying to analyze its name. Takiawase is Japanese (of course) for vegetables that are served with some sort of meat, and the ingredients are typically cooked for them separately. The fact that the show continues to use these sort of food titles just makes everything all the more disgusting, mostly because you know what sort of meat that Hannibal is eating to go along with these vegetables. This show continues to surprise us in that way, at least when it comes to how it manages to air on network TV when it is far more terrifying than a good percentage of anything on cable.
Now, let’s turn it over to the short synopsis (via SpoilerTV) for some more scoop:
“When a body is discovered in a meadow, the cranial cavity appears to have been turned into a beehive; Beverly secretly consults with Will on the mural killer case.”
What does this mean for the show in the end? Combined with the promo below, it really means that Will Graham could finally have a chance to be freed of the current prison that he is in. The only real issue that he still has goes beyond belief; it is proving that there is accuracy behind his claims. After all, there is a very distinct difference between someone wanting to trust in what he says, and that same someone being able to actually do something substantial with it.

Poor Beverly. I don’t see her lasting very long.
