ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3, episode 13 preview: Quinn’s new duties are not that impressive

Quinn went through all of the trouble to join B-613 on “Scandal,” and now that she has managed to pull that off, one thing is going to become very apparent to her: She’s not just getting an instant promotion to agent because of her time with the Gladiators.

In the sneak peek video below from Thursday night’s new episode, you can see exactly what Quinn is forced to deal with. Basically, it revolves around her being the more serious version of Pam Beesly at the front of the organization’s headquarters. The cover for B-613 is a paper supply company, which means she will have to look like a saleswoman who is enthused about paper … and we have a hard time imagining that selling this sort of stuff is particularly enthralling for her.

Quinn obviously thought that in joining the organization, she was going to get an opportunity to do all sorts of super-fascinating stuff … and that has to stink even more when you remember what she has done in order to get here. After all, she had herself brutally tormented by Huck, and just dealing with the constant drama surrounding Olivia Pope’s life has to really count for something.

Whatever happens for Quinn here should unfold rather quickly, especially when you remember that there are only five episodes left this season after this one. The shortened order for the show has forced things to move along at a little bit of a faster pace, and there is quite a bit of stuff to get to. In addition to B-613, you also have to remember the re-election campaign that is going on right now, and also all of that good stuff surrounding whether or not Mellie is going to develop a relationship with Andrew. There’s also Olivia’s mom, and she cannot be forgotten.
