‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: More on Regina vs. the Wicked Witch

“Once Upon a Time” season 3 wasted almost no time upon its return when it comes to one simple thing: Letting us know who the major villain for this season is. It’s all about the Wicked Witch! Rebecca Mader is someone who seems to be perfect for the role, and it also seems like there is a tremendous history that is there when it comes to this character and Regina.

The most interesting part of this? A good percentage of this history is something that Regina is not even quite aware of yet. “Witch Hunt” Sunday night may start to make that a little bit clearer. It wasn’t unveiled until now, but we’ve not got an official synopsis from ABC that gives you a sense of how her presence could either cause both Regina and Emma to join forces:

“Emma arrives in Storybrooke with Henry and reunites with her friends and family, only to discover that no one remembers how they were transported back – or the past year they had spent back in Fairy Tale Land. But Emma is sure that someone in town is responsible for this new curse and teams up with Regina in an attempt to uncover their identity. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was during the past year, Regina, with the aid of Robin Hood, attempts to break into her castle, which has been overtaken by the Wicked Witch.”
