‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Andi Dorfman confirmed as season 10 star

After that horror show  that was this season of “The Bachelor,” it’s fair to say that just about everyone is ready to move on.

So can Andi Dorfman bring the show back to what it is supposed to be as the “Bachelorette” season 10 star? We can only hope so. If nothing else, we at least know that she’ll be more interesting. She has an interesting job, a big story,  a history on the show, and she is much more open with her feelings. If nothing else, we feel like she’s not going to come on live TV and act like a complete tool in front of millions of people.

Also, Andi’s dad is hilarious and terrifying at the same time. Any season that you can get that from a parent is something worth celebrating. The weird thing was all the random footage of her shot in Los Angeles, given that she is actually from Georgia and that stuff  is so much more interesting.

The one part of this announcement that was even more hilarious was seeing how overjoyed Chris Harrison was to have someone in the chair at the end of the night who was actually interested in the gig. It was like Christmas morning for him! Andi said that, unlike Juan Pablo Galavis, she is completely open to the process and ready to have a full experience.

We’re excited to see what happens here, and basically this is the general feeling on this night as a whole. “The Bachelor” is a cheesy reality show where you may or may not find love in the end, but the point is that you let viewers in on the fun while you are doing it. Obviously there are parts of it that are orchestrated and cheesy , but it’s like Santa Claus. If you really want to believe, there can be something good that comes out of it. It’s just few and far between.
