‘The Bachelor’ finale: Catherine Giudici, Sean Lowe talk Juan Pablo Galavis
“The Bachelor” finale is something that ABC has turned into some sort of massive event, as they air it live, and show just about anything and everything over the course of three long hours.
On tonight’s edition, this also included a discussion with Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici that could definitely be described as uncomfortable. Why would they even be at the finale in the first place? Obviously, ABC wanted to have a success story there, and possibly a distraction from what was a pretty terrible season.
This discussion was led by Chris Harrison, who put Catherine on the spot and asked her what her thoughts on Juan Pablo were. Her response? That she thought he was a “great guy” … and then tried to get some other words together. It’s a pretty bad position to be in for her, since she doesn’t want to completely bash someone on the show. Sean is basically the same way. They’re more ambassadors of good will and peace for ABC, and we have a feeling that so long as they stay married, they will continue to make the occasional appearance on the show to share a few thoughts here and there and updates on their marriage.
As for Juan Pablo, we have a much harder time thinking that he will be used for a lot of “Bachelor” promotion. We really doubt that he will even have a wedding special if he makes it that far.
Is there anything that you are specifically hoping to see from Sean and Catherine moving forward, and why in the world do you think they were pressed for their opinion on this in the first place? Share some of your thoughts below, and also visit the link here if you want to see the rest of our updates from the finale. We’re also going to have some in the attached sidebar until Tuesday morning, just to make your searching more convenient.

I would love to hear a more in depth opinion from Sean and Catherine. Maybe it was just me, but I could tell Sean didn’t care for Juan Pablo anymore. His facial expressions along with his words made it seem that Juan Pablo’s whole attitude (about the current state of his relationship) ticked him off. I personally feel that Nikki is being brain washed to believe whatever Juan Pablo says. Another intelligent woman falling prey to another chauvinistic pig. It sucks I really liked Juan Pablo before he came to be the “main act.” Now I think he is the type of guy that is drawn to whatever “shiny” things are laid before him. The “shiny things” meaning women, just in case that wasn’t clear. Nikki needs to run away from this guy asap. He is living up to almost every hispanic stereotype out there. One other side note I would like to add is that he is always saying “you have to understand english is my second language.” Seriously? You were born in New York! Then you came back to the U.S all be it many years later… but you have been here for a long time now. My mother is a teacher and she thinks he must have some kind of learning disability. People who move here at a young age learn english just fine, oh wait… so do adults who have moved here. Juan Pablo has been here long enough to refine his english speaking abilities, and his understanding of the definitions of the words used in the english language, unless there is a lack of “cognitive” ability there (very likely). Kudos to Charleen and Andi for leaving on their own terms. I find them to be VERY smart women. I am so excited to see Andi find love, and hopefully it is someone who can bring more to the table. Ok.. So I realize I am ranting now, but I hope Sean will share a more elaborate opinion on Juan Pablo and his actions sometime in the near future. Out of sheer curiosity.
