‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: Jessica Capshaw on latest for Callie, Arizona

Are things finally looking up for Callie and Arizona on “Grey’s Anatomy” season 10? That is not a question that is completely easy to answer.While the good news for them is that they have some new digs to call their own, the bad news here is that these said digs are going to be quite possibly a band-aid for some greater problems in their relationship that will be explored as the season goes on.

Jessica Capshaw touched on this story in a new interview with TVLine, saying that both characters are going to go to this place with the best of intentions, and with the belief that upon arrival here, they are going to feel pretty satisfied  (at least at first):

“It’s the, ‘If you build it, they will come’ mentality. It’s the absolute wish fulfillment. It’s like, let’s paint a picture of where we would be really happy and then let’s hope we go there and then get really happy.’”

Would it really be “Grey’s Anatomy” at all without the Calzona drama, though? Just ask yourself that for a second, and you will find it very easy to determine why the show likes to plug these stories in there.

One thing that we do feel like this couple actually does have going for them right now is that there is not the same sort of pressure placed upon them as there are other couples at the Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital. As you can see in this sneak peek video from “You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away,” a new rule at the hospital is rendering it next to impossible for many characters to have relationships anymore unless they are marriages and not between subordinates and supervisors.
