‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: More photos of Deadshot, Shrapnel, and more
While we know that Wednesday night’s new “Arrow” episode is going to be in particular a pretty important one, let’s cast the focus here for a minute on something pretty exciting coming up a little bit later on down the road: The “Suicide Squad” installment airing a little bit later this month. This is going to be one of the first chances to really see many of the show’s recent villains working together … but actually to potentially do some good in the world.
This entire episode features Diggle as the main character more so than Oliver Queen, as he is recruited by Amanda Waller and ARGUS in order to help with a mission that includes the likes of Bronze Tiger, Deadshot, and Shrapnel. These three villains have been recruited for this as an alternative to a prison sentence; while it may not be akin to being able to live out their normal lives as evil-doers, it’s certainly more exciting than having to rot inside of a jail cell.
So why in the world would Diggle agree to work with someone like Floyd Lawton, who is responsible for such a terrible part of his past?We like to think that this is a show that has earned enough good will for most people to trust in their creative direction. That may not be an easy thing to do with lesser shows, and we’re not even that positive that we would have been able to do it with this show if we were talking about the first season.

It’s hard to believe that these villains will ever be the good guys.
