‘Shark Tank’ preview: Buzzy and a Kisstixx update

Sometimes going into new “Shark Tank” episodes, we carry with us some sort of excitement and tremendous levels of hype. Unfortunately, we really don’t know if we are doing quite that about the new episode airing on Friday night.

The problem that we have right now? Out of the four products that are being shown off in this one, we’d say that only one of them could actually fulfill some sort of need … and that is still something we don’t know people will buy, since bamboo is still working on becoming a paper replacement. “In this episode with both Barbara and Lori on the panel, an architect from New York City now builds relationships instead of structures, with her unique dating service that blends online dating with personal interaction. Also, a couple from Los Angeles impresses the Sharks with their salesmanship as well as their bamboo cleaning cloths that offer an eco-friendly alternative to paper towels; two sisters from Los Angeles have designed a fast and easy way to make a bed by combining a sleeping bag and a fitted sheet, and a pediatrician from Atlanta, GA may have overestimated the value of her buzzing medical device that takes the sting out of the dreaded shot. There is a follow-up on Dallas Robinson & Mike Buonomo from Riverton, UT and their Kisstixx mix-and-match flavored lip balm,which Mark Cuban invested in during Season 3.”

Now, let’s focus on one of these products being featured.

Buzzy – It’s a well-intentioned product, since it does help those who suffer from a fair of needles and also those who just feel like they need some sort of extra help to get through pain. The problem here is going to be selling this as something that people need, especially when there are so many alternatives out there on the market.

Our opinions have changed about products before, so we will wait and see what happens on Friday night. We’ll have a full review then.
