‘The Bachelor’: Was Andi Dorfman’s ‘Bachelorette’ stock raised significantly by fight?
Following her pretty intense fight with Juan Pablo Galavis on “The Bachelor” last night, where she basically took him to school over the way that he was talking without really making any sense at all, Chris Harrison made it very clear in a new interview with TV Guide that she is someone who could have everything the producers are looking for:
“We’ll see how she performs at Women Tell All and how people take to that, but I think she would be a fantastic Bachelorette. She embodies everything you look for in a Bachelorette: She’s beautiful, but incredibly smart, strong, articulate. This is no pushover — she’s a catch! I can only imagine her demanding as much from the guys.”
There is literally almost everything that the producers could want here, including her unique job as a prosecutor, and also the fact that her father was both terrifying and incredibly memorable at the same time. You’re basically combining the good parts of Desiree Hartsock’s season, adding the southern flavor of Emily Maynard’s, and hopefully a little bit more of the attitude of Ali Fedotowsky’s. All in all, it could be a good mix.
Just for fun, we’ve also enclosed another video below from Harrison’s recent sit-down at the Grantland studios. If you’re interested at all in production and TV casting, this is one of our favorite “Bachelor”-related interviews in some time. There’s a lot of great insight here, including how he thought going into the season that Sharleen Joynt was a likely winner.
