NBC’s ‘Community’ season 5 spoilers: What are Britta, Professor Duncan up to?
Have you missed “Community“? Of course you have! The Olympics have severely delayed every show on NBC, but the Greendale gang will be back for some more fun Thursday night with a crazy episode entitled “Bondage and Beta Male Sexuality.” That is the sort of name that may make you wonder what is going on … and then you also have the picture attached here of Britta and Professor Duncan.
Is this a couple that could really happen? Personally, we are still leaning towards it not happening, mostly because Dan Harmon has already professed himself as a a guy who is not exactly interested in painting a number of overly romantic storylines. This one is mostly just fun thanks to the sole fact that John Oliver’s character has been obsessed with her for an extremely long time, and one of the stories this week is going to come courtesy of his trying to get Jeff Winger to help him secure a date.
One other piece of evidence that Duncan and Britta may not exactly be endgame? Think along the lines of the fact that Oliver has a new gig hosting an HBO comedy show. Presuming that “Community” ends up getting that much-desired six season, it seems unlikely that he would be able to take on two job unless the HBO series comes a la “Real Time with Bill Maher,” where there are some sizable periods of time that he has off.
Hopefully, we’ll have some more footage and scoop on this episode soon, so be sure to stay tuned.

Dude, what’s up with the pessimism!? If Alison Brie can hold down two jobs and find time for the odd movie, surely Oliver can make a little time for the beloved Community fandom!? Multiple exposure builds audiences!:):):)
Meanwhile, I’m not to concerned about this romance, though I’d enjoy watching these two make an attempt at something… how mind boggling! But if Harmon’s restricting himself to not too many “overly romantic storylines”, I’d DEFINITELY take a Jeff/Annie over Britta/Duncan any day. Mr Harmon, are you reading this? JEFF – ANNIE – VERY VERY SOON please!

My endgame are still Jeff/Britta, but I would like Duncan to find someone, because that would be totally adorable.
