‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Teasers on Nikki Ferrell, Juan Pablo Galavis’ date

“The Bachelor” has a fairly-epic two-night event starting up on Monday night, and it is during this that you will have the first real opportunity to figure out whether or not Juan Pablo Galavis actually has any real chemistry with the women he has chosen in a family setting. There’s a big difference between making out with someone in a hot tub, and having an intellectual conversation with someone’s father about politics and personal information and what you want out of your life. We don’t know how well Juan Pablo is going to do in this setting.

One place where he may not have that much trouble, though, is with Nikki Ferrell and her family in Missouri. As the press release from ABC hints, this date may be much more laid back and less intense than some of the ones that he is about to go on with the likes of Andi Dorfman or Clare Crawley:

“Nikki puts Juan Pablo’s cowboy skills to the test by daring him to ride a mechanical bull. Seeing him so at ease in her hometown solidifies her feelings of love, but she still can’t tell him to his face. The Bachelor charms her family with his easy-going manner and good looks, but even with her family’s approval, will she gather the courage tell Juan Pablo she has fallen in love with him?”

The question that we are perhaps the most curious to get an answer to is whether or not Nikki’s oft-negative attitude changes at all when she is back in a more familiar setting, where she is not nearly as cut off from the outside world for at least a few hours. While we know that production still has a tight leash on her, there is some normalcy. Not only that, but there is an opportunity to have a little bit of time away from the other women to think about your own life.
