‘Almost Human’ episode 11 preview: ‘Let’s ask the house’
Anytime you hear a phrase uttered like the one that we have in the title, you likely either know one of two things: Either we are talking about a TV show that is set in the future, or it is quite possible that you are starting to lose your mind. In this case, we are talking about the former. The new episode of “Almost Human” coming up has quite a few things happening, whether it be questions about hacking, and a homicide case where everything just seems to be a little bit too perfect.
As the sneak-peek clip below shows, Maldonado nor Dorian are trying to figure out just what in the world is going on with a house that seems to have suffered some sort of breach for two years in a row, at the same exact time. Clearly, that is no coincidence, and there is something much larger at play here.
As we near the end of the first season, the hope here has to be that the stories end up growing in intensity, and get near a conclusion that could at least serve as some sort of series finale if the show is not renewed. Is a case about a house homicide really going to do that? On the surface, it doesn’t quite seem like it; but if there is one thing that we have learned from many of these sort of shows over the years, it is that there is so much more to a situation than what immediately meets the eye.

I think episode 9, the one where John Larroquette guest stars and we find out more about that female bot that was in the storage warehouse, had a cliffhangery moment and was a nice answer to a mystery in the pilot, so it could have served as both a season and (assuming the worst) a series finale. It’s a good show and has better ratings than a number of shows that are going to get renewed, even on Fox, so it would be a shame to see it go.
