‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: Charles Mesure cast for secret role

The “Once Upon a Time” circle has expanded yet again, and this time around we’re including an actor in Charles Mesure who has a history already doing such things in the fantasy / science fiction realm.

In a post on Twitter, co-creator Adam Horowitz has confirmed that “Xena: Warrior Princess,” “V,” and “Desperate Housewives” alum Charles Mesure has been cast to play some sort of part on the third season moving forward. Unfortunately, trying to figure out some more details beyond that right now are somewhat of a mystery. However, he has said on his own Twitter that he is wearing the “coolest” costume that he has ever worn in the business, and that he is doing a lot of action sequences that involve “fighting” and “leaping around.”

We’ll let you speculate over just who Mesure could be playing for now, but he adds to an already-robust lineup of people joining the show moving forward. We have already heard that Rapunzel will be letting down her hair in at least one upcoming episode, and there will also be appearances from both the Wicked Witch and also Glinda, who is currently still being cast by the show’s producers. We’ll probably find out a little more on that casting a little later on in the future.
