Love Island USA season 8 episode 6: Who are Jen, Caleb, Sol?

Leading up to Love Island USA season 8 episode 6 tonight on Peacock, we knew we would be meeting Jen, Caleb, and Sol. They were the three new bombshells designed to cause some drama in the villa, and also potentially insert some cracks into solid relationships.

Does the show need it at this point? To be frank, yes. While there are some likable people in the cast, there also has not been a lot of the drama that a number of people may have been hoping for based on some of what we’ve seen the past few years. This show has always been about the romance and the mess — it is hard to fundamentally have one without the other.

So what do we know about these newcomers? Well, we’ll fill in some of this information as the episode goes along…

Jen – She claimed that she had no issue at all coming in and possibly taking someone else’s man, which feels like the exact thing you want to tell producers.

Caleb – He fits into the classic “guy with a southern accent” archetype, but what else is there?

Sol – She is distinct thanks to her shorter hair, but we also knew little about her entering tonight other than her saying she was gorgeous. We’ve since learned that she is 24 and from Southern California.
