‘Duck Dynasty’: Who is staying positive after Phil Robertson situation?

It is pretty hard to deny that “Duck Dynasty” went into full-on crisis mode (at least from the A&E standpoint) following Phil Robertson’s comments to GQ. Both his suspension and subsequent reinstatement were met with a great deal of controversy, but at this point, all of it has completely died off in the press courtesy of the next big scandal. (Maybe they should in part thank Juan Pablo Galavis of “The Bachelor” for that.)

As for one of the ways that the family really was able to get away from all the negativity, you can thank their sense of humor. For some more evidence of that, just look at the comments that Missy Robertson gave to Fox 411 recently while promoting her line with Stephanie Carter’s Southern Fashion House while talking about her reaction to Phil’s initial suspension:

“I was actually doing an all-day photo shoot for my clothing line when the news broke, so I didn’t know anything about it until I walked in my house that evening and Jase told me. After it sunk in a minute, my initial reaction was, ‘Is Kay going to move to the end of the table and say the blessing?’ We both chuckled at that thought.”

This is how the family has moved forward: With humor. They’ve basically responded the same exact way that they have to any other situation on the show, and have moved forward mostly be keeping their fans close and paying no attention at all to the detractors. While you can have whatever opinion that you want about what Phil said, this family has painted a picture for how future embattled reality stars can make it through controversies.

What do you think about the way in which the Robertson family has managed to get everyone to forget all about the negative headlines, and thrown the attention back on the show?
