ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Olivier Martinez snags key role as…

“Revenge” season 3 just got a little more interesting, and it is courtesy of the show really working now to further expand the character of Margaux now that we know she is a new series regular.

Olivier Martinez has been cast for the ABC series moving forward, and will take on the part of Margaux’s media-magnate dad. This character has been referenced a number of times in the past, and will apparently be touching down in the Hamptons at some point either to see his daughter or to conduct some business.

As for what further makes this character interesting, it is the simple fact that he has all sorts of connections to the characters who are all there already. He’s worked with Conrad Grayson professionally over the years, and also has a much more personal history with Victoria. That’s just what the show needs, after all; more reasons to be complicated! If he and Victoria have past ties, that may make him susceptible to falling for some of her you-know-what. Meanwhile, that could put Margaux in an even more precarious position, since she loves Jack, who hates the Graysons and is working with Victoria’s arch-nemesis Emily Thorne at the moment. Emily is making the entire family’s life miserable at this point, being that they all think that she is just leeching off of her son, and she has them hostage thanks to what she is threatening to tell the press about them.
