‘The Tomorrow People’ spoilers: Robbie Amell and a new test

“The Tomorrow People,” like the remainder of all the CW shows on the schedule right now, is on a hiatus; but in a week and a half, all of them are coming back, and the story of Stephen, his newfound family of heroes, and the folks at Ultra can start to gear up again as he tries to continue the hunt for his father.

So what could be standing in his way next? While you can read some more about the show’s January 15 return here, we are focusing more in this article on a challenge that will be coming his way the following week in an episode entitled “Rumble” (which is hardly the most specific title ever created). Thankfully, the official synopsis that we have below is a little bit more detailed:

“Stephen (Robbie Amell) and his fellow Ultra trainees are given a test by Jedikiah (Mark Pellegrino) to see who is worthy of becoming an Ultra agent, but not everyone is happy to work as a team. Cara (Peyton List) is faced with a mysterious visitor from her past. Russell (Aaron Yoo) is sent on a dangerous recon mission that could force a clash between Tomorrow People groups. Meanwhile, John (Luke Mitchell) works with a new break-out.”

The only thing that we hope for at this point is that eventually, Ultra starts to show a little bit more intelligence. There is only so long that Jedikiah can really be fooled by what is going on here, mostly because we don’t exactly think that Stephen is hitting it out of the park when it comes to hiding the truth.
