New Year’s Eve 2013: Official live stream to watch ball drop in Times Square!
Are you unable for whatever reason to catch “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” or any of the other specials out there on New Year’s Eve? Don’t worry: We’ve got your official hookup for all of the good stuff straight from Times Square, and you can check it out without having to sit through commercials. It is also officially set up by The Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment, which means that you’ll see a lot of good stuff throughout the night that shows off everything that you would want to see from New York City.
New York has always been the focal point for every New Year’s Eve TV special out there, largely because there are so many people crammed into such a tight space there. Not only that, but Times Square is one of those places that is so electric that you don’t have to worry about there ever being a moment that isn’t fun.
There are a number of good reasons to want to watch the entire New Year’s Eve proceedings this year from the comfort of one’s own home, but one of the primary ones may simply have to be that it would be crazy to want to spend a ton of time out in the cold during this time of year. The wind chill in New York City tonight is well below freezing, and regardless of however tempting it may be to sit outside and wave at the camera, we imagine that it’s not worth it. There are so many other ways to get your five seconds of fame these days that freezing, dealing with drunk people, and having a hard time getting back home don’t have to be on the top of the list.
