‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Will Heather Morris film Brittany – Santana scenes upon return?

Almost every major fan of Brittany and Santana on “Glee” has already heard the big news: Not only is Heather Morris returning for the 100th episode of the show, but there are going to be some big moments between Brittany and Santana. Don’t necessarily take that as a sign that the two are going to be getting back together during the episode, but it is at least a step in the right direction for those of you out there who have been eagerly awaiting something more from the couple ever since Morris left the show in order to welcome her baby into the world.

It was her co-star and former on-screen love interest Kevin McHale who was actually first to spill some of the romantic details, as he had the following to say about the milestone episode to The Huffington Post:

“There are some of those Santana and Brittany moments that we’ve all been missing. I’m a fan of those story lines, too, so I’m excited for people to see that.”

As of right now, Santana is technically in a relationship with Demi Lovato’s character of Dani, but there is no indication as to just how long that is really going to last. For whatever reason, Dani as a character has been completely under-developed, and it would be pretty easy to write her out whenever the now-former “X Factor” judge has to go and start preparing for her upcoming “Neon Lights” tour.

As for when Brittany could return to the show full-time, if ever, there is no timetable on that. Much of the decision will be up to Morris herself, as she has to decide how much work she wants to take on as a new mom. Also, it will have to be determined just what sort of place Ryan Murphy would have for her in the new “Glee” world.
