‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5, episode 11 preview: Callen and Sam talk being life-changers

While we know already that there are going to be some pretty intense moments coming up on Tuesday’s “NCIS: Los Angeles” episode, and the latest sneak peek that CBS has released for this episode teases something a little bit different. Specifically, we have a rather silly back-and-forth between Sam and Callen as the two argue who has saved the other person’s life more over the years. There’s no good answer here to the question, since both of them probably have quite a bit to be proud of when the chips were down.

Just in case you wanted even more proof that these two are about as seasoned of professionals as they come, they quickly transition from talking about their skills straight into an investigation. Somewhat classic by Sam / Callen standards, no?

We really wish at this point that there was something a little more interesting to say when it comes to this episode, but CBS has not really made promoting these episodes that much of a priority compared to ones in the past. Hopefully, that will change next week, when there is an episode airing that will be a little more emotional and focused on the holiday season. That’s the last one for both this show and “NCIS” proper, at least until the shows return following their winter hiatuses in early January. At that point, you can expect even bigger developments when it comes to the story, especially in terms of whether or not we’re going to see anything big from Deeks and Kensi now that the two have started to go down a very interesting road in terms of their relationship.
