Tonight marked the 2013 Grammy Nomination Show on CBS, and of course, we know that there is one part of this out there that music enthusiasts are especially excited to see: The actual nominees. We’re not a music site, so we won’t sit here and give you too much of a blow-by-blow analysis of any of these. Snore! The usual suspects. At least, Justin, Pink and Rihanna would deserve to win this year. As for the newbies…Robin Thicke and Lorde…what a borefest! And not a mention of Ellie Goulding – the most unique singer/songwriter in the last ten years. How about Ellie and Calvin Harris for best pop duo (I Need Your Love) duh! Who chooses these nominations? And could we get a break from Blake and Taylor?!! Just this once! I won’t even comment on the Best Album nominees.
