‘The Blacklist’ spoilers; Get ready for another connection to Red … and also Tom?

Did you really think that “The Blacklist” was going to leave that story with Tom alone moving forward? While we may now know that he passed some of the earlier “horrible person” tests from a few episodes ago, there’s still something creepy about him. Reddington is continually pushing his name time and time again for a reason, and despite some of his deception to other characters, we have a hard time believing at this point that his warnings to steer clear of the guy are a complete lie.

According to a new report from E! News, the NBC phenomenon (which was already renewed for another season in a pretty surprising move) is going to dive deeper into the story of Lucy Brooks. This is a woman that has some sort of past with Reddington, at least in the sense that he has a photo of her; not only that, but this same woman also has some sort of connection to Tom. Maybe this is some sort of link to explain why Reddington is continually handing out all of those warnings to steer clear of the guy, since he knows just what sort of carnage he is capable of bringing.

As of right now, the Tom story is one of the two biggest threads that the show has left dangling, along with the issue of what the connection really is between Liz Keen’s past and Red. He has insisted that he is not her father now, but whether or not you want to believe him is up to you. This is exactly what her father would tell her if he was in Red’s position to try and keep her safe.
