‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6 finale spoilers: The story for Maggie Siff’s Tara is far from over…
After Tara made the surprising decision to try and flee with the children on Tuesday night’s “Sons of Anarchy,” there were two obvious questions: Would she manage to really get away, and what role was she going to ultimately have in the finale?
Well, the photo here confirms that Maggie Siff is not going to suddenly be gone from the show. Instead, she may be one of the main focuses of “A Mother’s Work,” and episode that feels like it could take a different approach than much of the rest of the season. Rather than being a big story that could be about shootings and explosions, maybe this will at least in part be a smaller take on family, trust, and what it means to want to care and protect someone else. There is a selfishness in Tara’s actions, but there is also a justifiable amount of righteousness to them. She knows that she will provide a much better life if she can escape from this world than Jax will, mostly because he and Gemma have shown no real progress in that department save for trying to get out of the arms trade. If there are people out there willing to blow up the clubhouse, what would the next round of enemies be willing to do?
With all of this about Tara being said, there are no guarantees that this will be an episode just about family. There may still be violence and mass murder that happens, and a cliffhanger that keeps you guessing until next year. We see the issue of the children, though, as fairly black-and-white: If Tara stays with her kids, there is a chance that they can someday grow up and live reasonable lives, but if she dies or is taken away from them, we don’t really see any hope that these kids avoid the same problems and situations as their parents. Even Jax wanted to start off different, and look what he has become.
You can read so much more news over at the link here, but “A Mother’s Work” is overall the show’s most-secretive episode this year, and that includes having a promo that contains no few footage. The next few days are going to feel pretty long.

Since Maggie Siff is pregnant, and we can’t have a pregnant Tara next season, I’d say it’s looking like mayhem for Tara. 90% chance they kill her off.

Oh, my God! You’re right! Pregnant actresses have never in the history of television or film played non-pregnant characters!

She would have given birth before filming begins for next season although I’m worried for Tara, she’s one of the few people left in this show that I’m still rooting for.

I’m fine if she’s not on the show….She won’t be killed….She’ll be allowed to leave with her kids.

Juice dies at the end Tara is part of Jax world she choice this her thoughts are now of a mother protecting her sone. when her husband should have been the one to do that originally. Hopefully Jaz will learn fro Patterson that Gemma LIED Tara never ratted the MC out. Hopefully he has an end game for himself and his family. Keep them all safe and protected. For a Jax/Tara fan just don’t see the point in killing her when all along she has been more the strength in this show. Sutter would be foolish to ditch Jsx and Tax they would be a great Spin oFf for him.

Um seriously?! How is she just as bad as a murderous bikie gang or Gemma, the woman who plotted to kill her husband, mother of her children with his best friend while they were having an affair?! I know Tara is no saint seeing as how she chose to stay but she’s making up for her mistakes and she is just trying to protect her boys by giving them a future, there is no wrong in that.

And how many people has Tara killed, or assisted/covered up a murder? Yeah…sh’s just as bad as anyone. Don’t sugarcoat it.

Tara has only killed people in self defense and the covering up murders is wrong like I said she is no saint but she is doing something about it now. Any parent that loves their children would not want them growing up in that chaos. Gemma claims she loves her grandchildren but a women that loves her grandchildren and wants them to be safe would not drive with them while being high and she should also want them away from Samcro, she knows the danger they are in as long as they are in Charming like when Able got kidnapped or the clubhouse blew up and Able almost died .Tara is no saint but she is definitely not as bad as everyone else on the show, just like Kurt said ‘The reasonable folks are team Tara. The irrational ones are team Gemma’. Jax is no better either, ever since Opie died he has gone on a downward spiral; putting his club above his family, cheating on his wife whilst being in jail for helping him, seeing his kids approximately 15 minutes a day and handing them off to Tara/Gemma/Unser every other minute and lets not forget the murdering people every day. Yeah Tara really is just as bad as everyone… (eye roll)

She is an accesory to murder on several counts. Crimes, all of them. Not “Self defense”. Just because she hides huer misdeeds under the guise of “doing whats best for her children”, doesn’t excuse her. She has assaulted, she has hurt, she has threatened she had flailed guns at people for reasons other than self defense. Its ultimately hypocritical to condemn the club for killing someone, yet excuse Tara from the same simply because she has kids that she is “protecting” from “the life”…
If you don’t see that she is as bad as everyone else you are blind. (eye roll) See what I did there?

Look. I don’t condone all of the things Tara has done. But these are things she has to live with day in day out. Living with blood on your hands is not easy if you’re a person with a conscience. She doesn’t want her kids to live with that guilt. But she knew if she stayed and kept those in the life chances are they would have to. The best bet is to get them out early to keep that from happening. That’s just he way I see it. If you disagree, then to each his or her own.
