NBC’s ‘The Voice’: Christina Aguilera talks Matthew Schuler, Jacquie Lee success (video)

Ready? -Yesterday marked Thanksgiving, and Christina Aguilera has a ton to be thankful for right now. Not only is she considered to be one of the biggest pop stars of the 1990s and early 2000s, but she is a mother, and someone who makes tens of millions of dollars a year starring in a singing competition for NBC.

It is in part due to this gig that Christina had an opportunity in the first place to appear on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” last night, which was his annual show featuring various members of the military in the audience. Christina drew applause from this during the broadcast, as she proclaimed that she grew up in part on a military base thanks to her father being a Sargent.

On the subject of “The Voice,” you can hear her in the video below praise her remaining team members Matthew Schuler and Jacquie Lee, and Christina probably feels pretty lucky right now since she has a third of the remaining contestants in the competition. As a matter of fact, five of the top six are from either her or Adam Levine’s teams; Blake Shelton only has one artist left, and Caroline Pennell of Team Cee Lo Green was sent home on this past episode. Are either one of Christina’s artists favored to win? They probably each have a shot, though right now we actually would still give it to Cole Vosbury of Team Blake, especially when you consider that now, all of his fans are going to be voting for him, since they no longer have any sort of alternative.

Do you think that Christina’s team members do have a good shot of winning the whole competition? Share some of your thoughts with a comment below! We’ll have our latest edition of “The Voice” rankings to share come Saturday, so be sure to come back on the page if you are interested in checking out some more of that.
