‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Trying to find the meaning in ‘Tremors’

Take a look -While there may not be too much in the way of spoilers out there for “Arrow” season 2 right now, thanks to this being both Thanksgiving and also a hiatus week. However, we do at least have a little bit of news now coming in when it comes to episode titles.

In a new post on his official Twitter, executive producer Marc Guggenheim first shared the news that the title for the upcoming 12th episode of this season airing early next year is going to be “Tremors.” What does this mean? It’s pretty ambiguous, and for that reason it really could be just about anything.

However, at the same time it’s hard to argue that one of the first things to enter your brain after hearing this title is Malcolm Merlyn. The famed “Dark Archer” is the one responsible for the quakes in the Glades, and we recently learned that the man is also still alive out there. It’s possible that he could be coming back again, that this episode deals with the aftermath of the quake, or this is about something else entirely that has little to do with the Merlyn character. It’s just that we know Guggenheim and company would not make this sort of reference without a reason.

The final two episodes of “Arrow” this season are going to revolve around Barry Allen’s arrival to the world of Starling City, which will be an eventual launching pad to the new series that could be aired starring him in the fall. There are some major villains being set up for the rest of the season, even if John Barrowman does not return in any form. Instead, you have Brother Blood, who is currently on his way to building a pretty deadly army to ensure that the city becomes fully under his control.

What do you think that this title could be ultimately about? Be sure to share all of your theories below! Meanwhile, click here to check out more scoop about Allen’s arrival in this article.
