‘New Girl’ season 3 spoilers: Adam Brody of ‘The O.C.’ to re-enter Jess’ life

Who is ready to see the return of Adam Brody to TV? We definitely are, especially when his return means an opportunity to get to see him work some of his magic on “New Girl” season 3.

Sources have confirmed that the actor is going to be making an appearance on an upcoming 2014 episode as Berkley, a man who Zooey Deschanel’s Jess dated many years ago. He is apparently a guy who takes a great bit of pride on thinking that he can end relationships and still get along well with his exes, which could make for some pretty fantastic comedy if it turns out to not be the case.

What of course makes this casting so interesting is that if this guy really had such a talent of having good relationships with women after going separate ways with them, why are we only hearing about his casting now? Something is clearly amiss here, and it will be interesting getting to hear about just what that something is in the near future.

But for the time being, tonight’s “New Girl” season 3 episode will introduce another fun concept in allowing us the opportunity to have yet another Thanksgiving special. The difference between this one and others (as evidenced in the first promo for it at the link here) is that this one is going to force Jess and company into the great outdoors. Given that there are a few people in this group who probably don’t really have a knack for being outside (as evidenced by the video here), there is probably going to be a ton of good comedy that ends up coming out of this.
