‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5 spoilers: The journey to track down a war criminal

More scoop -What is coming up on “NCIS: Los Angeles” next month? While you’re going to be suffering through a week without the show next week as it takes the Thanksgiving week off, it will not be long before a few more episodes end up airing after that.

With that in mind, we’re here to start sharing some details on “Iron Curtain Rising,” which is going to be an interesting episode just from the vantage point of history. After all, we’re dealing with an installment (airing on December 10) that is focusing on what could be one of the coldest (or hottest?) cold cases around, since the team is going to be looking to bring down a war criminal who has been on the run for a whopping 20 years. This is something that will be no easy task for Callen and company, but it should be pretty exciting to watch unfold. Just take a look at the full synopsis below:

“When a former Romanian Communist leader and suspected war criminal is discovered to be living in Los Angeles under a false identity, the NCIS: LA team must locate him before he disappears again.”

There is also a part of this story that is probably at the moment getting just a little bit under-reported, and that is simply that this will be the first episode following a very important conversation between Deeks and Kensi. This will be where the two have an opportunity to really talk through and figure out most of their feelings … and in turn, we’ll get a chance to learn just what this prospective couple is going to be doing moving forward into the rest of their career. Fingers crossed? You better believe it.
