NBC’s ‘The Voice’: Cee Lo Green, Robin Thicke, and Ellie Goulding will perform

The latest -For those of you hoping to see the return of some Goodie Mob action to “The Voice,” Cee Lo Green will be bringing that on the new episode Tuesday night. His famed group will be together to perform their song “Amy” from their album “Age Against the Machine,” which should be a treat for some old-school music fans who were fanatics about some of Cee Lo’s early days in the industry.

As for some other performers who will be joining the likes of the remaining contestants, Monday night is going to see Robin Thicke finding himself another new show to perform. The man seems like he’s been a part of every single live show this year in some shape or form, though at least the good news here is that he’s not going to be forced into doing “Blurred Lines” again. Instead, the soul / pop artist is going to take advantage of the opportunity to perform “Feel Good,” a song that will hopefully have this very effect on the audience.

Meanwhile, Ellie Goulding will be coming over from Britain in order to perform her new single “Burn,” which was just a part of the British “X Factor” a little earlier this year. She’s easily going to deliver a theatrical performance, and that is why it makes sense that she will be paired on the same show as Cee Lo Tuesday night. As for why Robin is performing Monday,t he easy answer is just that NBC really needs to do something to ensure that the performance show runs a full two hours. Since not everyone is performing two songs just yet, this is the only way in which to ensure that they get to do what they want.

As for who some of the favorites are going into this coming performance show, we’re going to have our full rankings tomorrow. But now that some of the predictable contestants have been sent home, it’s safe to say that we could be in for a pretty insane competition the rest of the way.
