‘Bones’ season 9, episode 10 preview: Brennan’s bachelorette party is born

What's ahead -

For most of her post-wedding life on “Bones,” we have seen Brennan become the show’s top priority when it comes to answering one simple question: What sort of bizarre situation do we throw her into next? The writers seem to be thinking of ways now to kepe the show exciting by trying to give Emily Deschanel surprising new situations for her character to act out; last week, it was jury duty, and we’re moving this time around straight into the idea of her having a bachelorette party.

On the surface, the idea of doing one now feels counter-intuitive. This is a woman who, by all intensive purposes, is not a bachelorette. But, as she is informed in the video below, maybe she doesn’t feel any different post-wedding because the entire process went too quickly. (We agree.) Her having a last party with all of her girlfriends could change that.

While Brennan seems obviously hesitant to this idea in the sneak peek, we know that she does eventually come around, and things will get much more entertaining from here on out. Just imagine Brennan + booze and then a number of other socially-awkward bachelorette party situations. Television shows typically go within a certain bounds when it comes to what you would espect from this sort of situation, so there will likely be a few lewd moments in here for Booth to try and react to.

For those of you wondering if Booth is going to have a chance to reenact “The Hangover” in Las Vegas, sad news: There will be no bachelor party for him. It’s not that he is being shunned for whatever reason, but he already feels married and content. there is no real reason related to the story for him to have one, unless he just felt like it. That is not nearly as interesting television as seeing Brennan get roped into one.

We’ll have a full review of this “Bones” episode online after it airs, but if you want to read some more information before that, our suggestion is to head on over to the link here.
