‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5 spoilers: Michelle Trachtenberg to shine in dramatic episode

More scoop -While Tuesday night’s “NCIS: Los Angeles” episode is going to contain a few big surprises when it comes to the Kensi / Deeks story, there are going to be some other interesting plots coming up after that … even if they may be a little more procedural in nature.

With that in mind, let’s bring in here a former “Gossip Girl” star. According to TVLine, Michelle Trachtenberg, who is best known as either Georgina on The CW series or her role on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” is going to be appearing in the December 17 episode as a private chef / environmental activist who is going to be placed into some pretty scary situations. This will of course lead to the team deciding to get involved, even though her character is going to try her absolute hardest to stay tough despite the horrible things happening around her.

In discussing this role, just take a look at what series boss Shane Brennan had to say to the website:

“We’re very excited to have Michelle guest on the show. It’s a very intense episode which pairs Michelle with Callen and Sam (played by Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J), in what is probably one of our biggest action shows so far this season.”

This may actually be the perfect time to get Trachtenberg on the show when you consider some of the other stuff that has been going on with the actress as of late. She’s fresh off of a major role as Lee Harvey Oswald’s wife on the National Geographic Channel product “Killing Kennedy,” and this gives her an opportunity to show off a flair for a different sort of TV. While she may not have had a series regular gig in some time, she has really gotten an opportunity to cross over into almost every genre of television.
