‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5, episode 9 preview: Rehab and a big Deeks / Kensi moment

If you have been waiting to see something huge for Deeks and Kensi on “NCIS: Los Angeles,” you may not be forced now to wait too long at all. Why is that? Based on the promo below for next week’s episode “Recovery,” the final minute of this is going to contain a moment that will make some longtime fans of the couple swoon / cheer with delight. You’ve been waiting for an opportunity for the two parties to get a little bit closer, and now that opportunity is almost there for them.

But since it’s hard to really speculate on that moment too much except to say “wow” at what Eric Christian Olsen’s character says to her in the closing minutes of the promo, let’s focus instead on what we do know. The story of this episode is going to send both of these two characters undercover to a rehab center, where they are going to be forced to take on a variety of different problems.

While it may not reveal too much more about the episode, be sure to take a look at the full synopsis below:

“Kensi goes undercover as a nutritionist and Deeks poses as a new patient at a rehab center to investigate the death of a Navy officer.”

When it comes to guest stars, William russ is going to appear as the man responsible for owning the villa, which is going to be the setting for some great / entertaining stuff. The clinic specifically that Deeks is attending here is one that specializes in sex addiction, so this is probably going to be even more of a wild visit for him than he may have originally planned. Expect a good one here; personally, we’re more excited about it than any other in the past month.
