‘Criminal Minds’ season 9, episode 8 preview: Watch Morgan get ‘Morganed’

Is there a major “a ha” moment coming on Wednesday night’s “Criminal Minds” season 9 episode? It’s rather possible; if nothing else, we are going to have a story that is more or less all about Derek Morgan finding out a little something about himself … and he doesn’t really like it when someone else tries to use one of his own moves on him.

In the video below, you can get at least a little bit of a sense as to what we’re talking about here. It seems at first to be just a simple conversation between Morgan and Garcia, where he is telling her about the great tear-jerker (at least for him) known as a woman getting up and leaving quickly right when he thinks that things are really going well for the two of them.

So what is Garcia’s response to this? It’s pretty hilarious, mostly because this is the sort of thing that almost everyone was probably thinking: Morgan has a taste of his own medicine, and he should be happy for that. After all, he could have someone now who cares about her work just as much as he does. There are not too many opportunities that you can have in order to meet someone in this world, and maybe this is one of them. If nothing else, it’s a little bit of a fun look at the episode. We’re sure that the rest of it is going to be pretty serious when you consider that the team is dealing with something as gut-wrenching as a child army gaining ground. This at least makes us a little bit more excited for this episode than we otherwise would have been. (It’s hard to really cheer for an idea so garish.)
