‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3, episode 6 review: Did Zoe reconnect with her past?
Tonight’s “Hart of Dixie” season 3 episode was really all about family, and trying to find a way to connect with people that you feel like you should connect with. Of course, the problem that goes with that is that just because you think that you should get along with someone does not always mean that you will, or that they’ll be interested in you at all.
Zoe realized this to the utmost when she tried to disguise herself as a magician’s assistant in order to step in for a party held by one of her relatives, mostly so that she can finally get them to realize that she is interested suddenly in being a part of the family. Of course, the problems there are pretty widespread; not only do the universally loathe her in the first place, but she’s totally acting selfish in coming up with this plan just so that she can secure a property that the family owns.
For Lavon, the family struggle took him to AnnaBeth’s, where we basically saw her parents do almost everything in their power to force their daughter upon him, even going as far as to picture him in the Governor’s mansion with her at her side. This, more or less, is an issue of AB freaking out over everything. We really don’t think that Lavon cared that much at all about what they were saying, and it wasn’t until later that she realized that her real problem was that she was not sure that he was on the same page as her. We do think that his intentions are the same as hers; he’s just got a little bit of a different energy and intentions behind it.
Then, we have the Rammer Jammer storyline, where we saw Lemon ultimately relinquish control of the establish and allowing Wade to buy her out. Why? It was all about her own hopes to buy Fancy’s, and even though that didn’t work out, she still figured out that there is something much more that she wants out of life.
This was in the end a fun episode that really focused the show a little bit more on the characters, and what they want out of their lives. There wasn’t much of anything that made little sense, and the only bummer we can think of is that there wasn’t much of the Zoe / Wade variety and most of the stories were somewhat isolated from each other. Grade: B-.

You are correct..”There wasn’t much of anything that made sense” more and more crazy nonsensical stories that no one finds funny or entertaining.
