‘The Mentalist’ season 6, episode 6: Three things to expect from Simon Baker, ‘Fire and Brimstone’

The latest -

Thanks to the way in which the NFL schedule is situated, we have some good news for you when it comes to tomorrow’s lineup: “The Mentalist,” pending some sort of terrible disaster, is probably going to air. That means that there is no longer a need to sit around and worry over the future of Patrick Jane, and if he is going to get a step closer to finding out the identity of that nefarious criminal otherwise known as Red John. He’s going to at least get a few more details on the man’s identity by the end of this episode.

But just how many details are we talking about here? The best way to look at it is that it really will feel like the investigation is coming to a close by the time that this hour of TV ends.

Now that we have said this, let’s transition into three things that you absolutely should expect to see unfold over the course of this hour of TV.

1. The suspect list decreasing – At least one more person can be removed from the list of possible evil-doers by the end of this, which is great news for those trying to actually figure out who is the guilty party before Jane does.

2. A twist for the tattoo – Remember that huge clue that Jane got at the end of this past episode, where it was revealed that Red John has a tattoo of three dots? Did you really think that the show was going to make it as simple as ripping the shirts of all the suspects and figuring it out then and there? Of course, this is going to be more complicated than that.

3. A moment for Jane and Lisbon – We’ve already teased this extensively, but if you missed it, it is worth pointing out again that Jane is going to at least acknowledge and appreciate how important this woman has been in his life.

If you want to get our full take on this episode tomorrow night, we suggest just holding on to this link very close. If you head over to it after this episode airs, you can see our full review for the episode.
