‘The Good Wife’ season 5, episode 7 preview: Could Alicia sabotage anyone?

The latest -

The past two episodes of “The Good Wife” have been game-changing. Beyond game-changing, in fact. They have set the stage for not just what the future of Alicia Florrick is, but also those who are around her. Will is starting to get used to running the firm without her around, and also some of the difficulties that come along with handling some of the old clients that are still there.

But just how unhappy is Alicia over the way in which everything went down last week? That is what one of the primary questions we have here moving into the episode airing tomorrow night, given that there is so much in the way of interesting story that could unfold. This is an opportunity to really see what makes people tick, and if Julianna Margulies’ character is going to completely take advantage of an opportunity to get revenge on the firm that decided to make a huge spectacle over her exit.

But what exactly could happen on the show from here? The only thing that we can really ask for is more twists and turns, and since the extended promo below for the next new episode does not really give away very much of anything, there is really nothing left for us to do besides sit here and wait for something else interesting to happen that not only catches our attention, but also keeps the ratings at a certain level after a few shaky performances. We constantly worry now about if we are at the end of the road for some of these characters, and if nothing else it’s hard to imagine it being around for longer than maybe another year or two.

But before we start to worry about that too much, let’s just take a step back, relax, and enjoy the sort of story that is coming up ahead.
