ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 8 video: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, and a lion named Linus

More of the latest -Only on “Castle” can you have a story about a picture of a lion that keeps someone awake at night, and also have this person be one of the toughest cops in New York City. This is in some ways why we love the show, and also why Kate Beckett works as a character. After spending all day trying to rid the streets of bad guys, the last thing that she wants to do at the end of it is have to come home and stare into the eyes of a lion portrait named Linus who is staring at her the whole time that she tries to sleep.

It is completely random that Rick has a picture of a lion in his bedroom in the first place, and the fact that he does may very well say more about himself than even a psychiatrist could. Unfortunately for him, the problem that this picture poses is more of an elephant in the room than a lion. Kate wants to actually come home and relax at the end of the work day, and not deal with more constant intensity. Therefore, she actually suggests that Castle move it to another room.

While this is an innocent scene and the part of an innocent video, this is the first move of many to come where we are going to see Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic play scenes that are focusing heavily on their future. Beckett is starting to think about what her future is like with Castle, and the last thing that she would want is to have to work while also dealing with an uncomfortable situation at home.

But the problem is that apparently Castle loves Linus. We’re sure that they will come to a resolution here in some way, especially as they start to think about all of the various elements of their life that need to be worked on before walking down the aisle. We only hope most of them are this entertaining.
