‘Bones’ season 9, episode 7 spoilers: Emily Deschanel on Booth, Brennan honeymoon story

Take a look -Monday night’s “Bones” season 9 episode is a big one, at least in that it is the one that marks the opportunity for Booth and Brennan to come back after their wedding and prove that you have something still to watch on the show. Even though the wedding is now over, there are some great mysteries still to be solved. Not only that, but there are some great ones that will have an international flair to them, as well.

Speaking to TV Guide, Emily Deschanel does her part to explain just why Booth and Brennan decide to take part in a case while out on their honeymoon:

“They’re going to get bored just hanging around having sex and going to the beach. We discover a set of remains that Brennan does not have faith the coroner there will be able to solve.”

Deschanel also explains that there is another reason why this particular case in Argentina is one that she is helpful in trying to solve, and it revolves around a certain level of fame that she has managed to pick up over time thanks to her contributions to the world of science / forensic anthropology:

“Brennan’s books are very popular in Buenos Aires, so Agent Andy, who is the character based on Booth in her books is a real hero there.”

This feels like a sort of situation that happens when a major Hollywood star goes to a midwestern city that does not often get visits from celebrities, and there are a good many people who start to mistake the person for the character that they are known for. This is going to be pretty fun for Booth, and another TV analogy would be seeing what happens to Kate Beckett on “Castle” when she is surrounded by a number of people who have read Rick’s mystery novels.
