‘The Originals’ spoilers: Is Joseph Morgan, Phoebe Tonkin missing on upcoming episode?
While tonight may give you a few more hints about the story for “The Originals”, what we have for you in this article is the answer to another important question: What is coming up down the road for the series? There are some interesting times ahead that include more battling between brothers, Rebekah and Marcel getting closer, and also Hayley starting to realize that her past really can come back to haunt her (and we mean that in a way that does not include a Bonnie Bennett-esque ghostly figure).
We’re talking here primarily about “Bloodletting,” the episode that is going to air on The CW in two weeks on November 12. Based on the synopsis below, one of the main events could be one of our major characters actually disappearing; following that, the responsibility then lies on the others to try and figure out what in the world has happened to them:
“When someone from Hayley’s (Phoebe Tonkin) past makes a startling revelation, she grows concerned for herself and the baby. Amidst growing tensions between them, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) turn to Sabine (guest star Shannon Kane) for help in locating Hayley, who has gone missing. After making a trip down to the bayou, Klaus has a surprising and dangerous encounter with an unexpected visitor. Meanwhile, Davina (Danielle Campbell) makes a surprising connection, and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) makes Rebekah (Claire Holt) an enticing offer that leaves her torn.”
Let’s make a bold prediction here: By the time this episode airs, we more than expect “The Originals” to have a full season. While The CW may not have a full-fledged hit on their hands with “Reign,” both this show along with “The Tomorrow People” look to be pretty solid contributors that could stay around on the network for some time with good performances. It is still early and ratings can drop, but we don’t really expect any future show airing at least this year to draw any better numbers.
