‘The Amazing Race 23’ preview: Tim & Danny’s Polish dancing lesson

The latest -Do we need to put on our dancing shoes before going on “The Amazing Race”? We would say that it should be within that instruction manual of things to at least learn about before going on the show. It’s not as important as being able to know how to swim, learning how to navigate airports, conquering a fear of heights, or learning to drive a stick, but it’s pretty important. Mostly for the sake of humiliation, there is almost always one challenge a season that requires teams to show that they have the moves, and we’re going to see that Sunday night in Poland for our season 23 teams.

Let’s start here with what is the most-obvious news of all time: Jason & Amy are good at this. Mostly because they are good at everything it seems. While we still think that Brandon & Adam are going to win the season based on what we’re seeing as of late, there is no reason for these two to be eliminated soon; they are not the biggest threat and won’t be U-Turned, and they also have different skill sets to take on a variety of challenges.

Also, they’re pretty boring. Sigh.

The token meltdown in the preview video below actually comes to us courtesy of Tim & Danny, who are a team who you would think would figure out a way to keep it together since they’re buddies. The unfortunate thing for these Oklahoma boys is that they have probably not done more than maybe two dance moves their entire life, and one of them is probably “the sprinkler”. To make matters worse, one of them has to wear a dress and is never going to live that down at work.

In the end, both of these teams are probably going to be safe thanks to the sole fact that there is a team out there probably worse than either one of them: “Baseball Bunnies” Nicky & Kim, who are somewhere deep in last place going into this episode. The only thing that could save them is the sort of infuriating equalizer on an airplane that would make this entire past episode not matter. We don’t mind equalizers since we understand the need from a production point of view, but can you at least not have them happen in a way that the entire first episode is down the drain?

As always, we want to hear some of your predictions below! Meanwhile, click here if you want to read some more of our recent “Amazing Race 23” coverage.
