NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 3, episode 2 preview: First look at ‘PTZD’

Grimm -You’ve waited for months in order to see what was going to be coming back on “Grimm” for season 3; now that it is back, the impatience shifts. You no longer have to wait for several months to see what happens next, but we still imagine that the anticipation is going to run rampant for the story ahead.

Next week’s installment carries with it a pretty bizarre title in “PTZD,” and it will also contain a story that is about the hunt for Nick, and really a rescue mission in more ways than one. Not only do they have to find the character, but they have to more or less save him from himself. If you want to check out some more on the subject, our suggestion is to just take a look at the full synopsis below:

“Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Hank (Russell Hornsby), Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) track down a manic Nick (David Giuntoli) and do all they can to find him and reverse what’s been done to him before he causes any more damage. Meanwhile, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) does his best to clean up the zombie fallout on all fronts – domestic and international. Elsewhere, the more time Adalind (Claire Coffee) spends with Stefania (guest star Shohreh Aghdashloo), the more disturbing things seem to get in her quest to regain her Hexenbiest abilities.”

For “Grimm,” the challenges are always twofold: Creating stories that are compelling, but then also finding a way to encourage people to watch live. This show has already proven time and time again that they know how to build an audience of devoted viewers via DVR, but that alone is not going to cut it and make the show successful in the end.
